Every operation runs on capability — some of it human, and more and more of it programmatic. Skills is about being honest about which capabilities your business actually depends on, and making sure both your people and your machines have them before you find out the hard way.
I help you define the skills you need to operate — the human competencies your teams should hold, and, increasingly, the packaged, machine-usable skills that agents and automation can execute against your interfaces. As AI moves into operations, the line between “a thing a person knows how to do” and “a thing a system can do” is blurring, and I help you plan for that shift deliberately rather than reactively.
The point is to know your capabilities well enough to grow them on purpose, rather than discovering the gaps in the middle of an outage.
On the machine side of that line, I put governance where an agent can actually reach it with the free API Governance MCP — run npx @api-common/api-governance-mcp and your rules, rulesets, and checks become skills an agent can execute against your interfaces.
